The following are breast augmentation case studies with before and after photos. All procedures performed by Jeffrey Wisnicki, M.D., F.A.C.S., West Palm Beach, Florida

Case 7 –

This 31 year old female wore a 34A brassiere and wished to wear a C-cup. After a discussion of implant options she chose to have placement of 286 cc silicone-filled breast implants. These were placed under the muscle of the chest wall through incisions placed along the inferior rims of the areolae. Scars may continue to fade over a period of years.

 

 

 

 

 

Case 8-

This is a 26 year old woman wore a 34A brassiere and desired greater breast fullness. She had breast enlargement with placement of 270 cc saline-filled implants. The implants were inserted beneath the chest wall muscle through the folds under her breasts. Since these implants are not filled until after they are put in position the resulting scars can be kept to a length of a little over an inch. Silicone-filled implants, which are prefilled, require a longer incision. Length of these incisions are also dictated by the size of the implant to be placed.

Current FDA guidelines label silicone-filled breast implants for use in women at least 22 years of age. Saline-filled breast implants do not have this limitation.

 

Case 9-

This is a 22 year old female who wore a 32A bra and desired greater breast fullness. She had breast augmentation with placement of 330 cc saline-filled implants. The implants were placed through small incisions within the folds of her breasts. Implants can make certain breast asymmetries less noticeable.
