Dysport

Dysport™ is an injectable medication very similar to Botox® in it’s mechanism of action and effect.  Although just recently approved for use in the United States by the FDA, it has been widely used in Europe and South America under the name Reloxin™ for many years.  It is also indicated for the temporary reduction of muscle activity in the forehead with softening or elimination of frown lines.  It may have a quicker onset than Botox®, but the effectiveness and longevity of either  treatment may vary between patients.  Dr. Wisnicki will review a treatment plan with you at your consultation.
